Eric's move went surprisingly smoothly!
I was anticipating all sorts of problems which never materialised..
Honestly..apart from the wheelchair taxi, which bemused him a bit, he seems to have taken it all in his stride.
On Friday another man from Eric's CH was also transferred to the same place as Eric.
After reading the local paper this week I'm so thankful that the move has happened. Apparently his old CH..( a Local Authority one which was sold off to the private sector almost a year ago..) is £2.4 Million pounds in debt to the County Council.
No surprises, then, at the short staffing levels and poor standards of care.
Feeling very sorry for the residents who are still there.
I'm feeling much happier about things now..
