how long can someone survive without liquid?

Mum hasn't eaten for over a week & in the last few days she cannot take liquid as she starts to chock as she isn't swallowing.
She is sleeping constantly & only wakes briefly when she is being turned by the nurses, however she appears peaceful now her meds have been sorted.
Does anyone know how long someone can survive without liquids, pray it's going to be peaceful for her at the end......

My grandmother lasted two weeks. My Mom lasted four days. Also, my Mom was comatose also and woke at the very end to tell us that she loved us.
