My Mum's gone

My mum passed away peacefully at 4am this morning after suffering for a number of years.

We are driving down to be with my Dad.

We loved her lots.

I noticed on another post that your mum was Hazel Jean. My sister is called Jean.

You're not Scottish, are you? Ours are part of the Scottish tradition of handing down family names from generation to generation.

Very useful when you're studying genealogy -- you can easily follow the family line.
Sadly not continued today.

My mum died in February; she'd had AD for about eight years
