just wanted to say thank you to everyone who offered their insight and support when i asked questions on the forum over the past few weeks, sadly my wonderful father passed away last tuesday and i still cant believe he has gone. there were many things that we as a family learned along the way so i hope i can be of some help to others on this long and painful journey, there were some things we got wrong and many things we got right but whatever we did was always in the best interests of Dad - he was the planet around which our world revolved and has left a huge gap.

Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
