First visit to carehome

Hi to all
just to update we made first visit to temp carehome. was expecting mum to be upset and asking to come home,but found the opposite.she seemed happy, relaxed and didnt mention going home.She had even had a manicure and nails painted(something shes never done before !!!).I know its very early days and next time may be totally different but at least i got a decent nights sleep knowing that day, at least mum was ok.have to meet with ss tomorrow for assesment and funding.Any advice on this would be great. Thanks for your support xx

glad your mum is happy at least for now. waiting to get mil out of hospital and into a care home .hope she settles as well as your mum x x x
