I doubt I'll be speaking to Pam again for a while.

She has a very close family and a strong circle of friends. I do not want to intrude. She needs time to heal. She knows where I am if she needs me and so do her son and daughter.

Dear Sylvia...thank you for passing on this sad news. Words fail me, Pam has been so close to us all and her love for her "man" as she called him shone through time and time again.

We used to exchange good wishes to each of our "Trevors" as my husband is called and this loss of hers is devastating.

I was looking through the Tea Room threads to see if there was any news of Pam and then came onto the main forum and found this.Thanks for letting us know this sad news, Sylvia. I cannot imagine what poor Pam is going through. She has given so much of herself to caring for Trev, I can see her, naturally but wrongly, feeling guilt at not being there for him at the end and wondering if he would still be here if she had not fallen ill. Give her my love and my deepest sympathy and tell her to get well for her family. They still need the very special person she is.

I'm sure that one day you will get to read this thread for yourself and I really hope it helps for you to know that you and your Trev are dearly loved.
