Thinking of you & Jamie at this time. I hope that memories of the happy times you have both shared with David soon replace those of these final days.

Oh Sue, I'm so sorry and shocked, it all seems to have been so quick, you must be in a terrible state. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Jamie.
Many, many hugs and best wishes.

Sue I am so sad to hear about David, this dreadful disease destroys lives. My thoughts and deepest sympathy are sent, with love.

But memories never die and the good ones will return to you in time.

Thanks, Helen, for letting us know.

Sue has read all your messages and feels so loved and supported by them. She has also been receiving lots of messages from people who knew David and she is overwhelmed by the massive amount of people who loved and respected him. He was very well liked and was a very lovely man.

The funeral will be on Sunday at 13.00 hrs.

Oh Sue, how terrible for you all, it only seems five minutes ago that David went into the care home. I can't imagine how you are feeling right now.

My heartfelt condolances to you and your family.

Some lovely words

Hello Sue,

I read these words today and thought you may like them...

Time is too slow for those who wait
by Henry Van Dyke

Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love,
time is eternity.

Thinking of you and the family this weekend.

Love xx

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for all your kinds thoughts and kind wishes they are so appreciated.

I must admit the mornings are just dreadful and even though nothing has changed here at home and I am on my own as before, everything has changed and it just feels so lonely, miserable and final.

I was worried that I couldn't cry - but that's sorted now - haven't really stopped!

Both my sons and their wives have been absolutely great but the feeling when you wake up in the morning is awful.

Anyway, thanks once again you don't realise how much help your posts have been.

Love
