CQC ?

Sorry if this has been asked before but does anybody know how often does CQC do care home inspections
My reason for asking is the care home my dad is in hasn't been inspected since January 2018 and I have a few concerns which I have raised with the local council safeguarding team.

I'm not sure if the CQC have specific timeframes but when I checked out a couple of specific homes their inspections took place roughly every 2 years or so. If there are concerns raised during a visit they tend to go back again sooner to check that improvements have been put in place. If the council safeguarding team are looking into your concerns they tend to act quite quickly - we raised a safeguarding concern and it was investigated and concluded within a couple of months.
