What would you do about this TP friends?

I had become aware that every time I have been out and I turn on a TV it’s tuned to the “adult” channels. My OH likes to write memoirs of his sexual conquests but I ignore those and I’ve made it clear I am not interested in any contact of that sort with him. Last night I suddenly wondered if he had been ringing the numbers that come up on those channels so I checked the numbers dialled on the phone. A whole string of 09 numbers came up. Then I logged into our phone account and he has run up a bill of almost £50 on premium line calls. Feel so disgusted.

Is there a way to block him from calling 09 numbers @Olliebeak ?

My dad went through a phase of writing up his sexual memoirs which were discovered on his computer by his granddaughter. I think this sort of behaviour is common with dementia but I understand how upsetting it is.

OH developed an obsession with porn using his tablet (fortunately we cant get adult channels on our TV) and started phoning.
I turned on the parental controls on the wifi so that these sites were blocked (did it sneakily so that he didnt know, then blamed an upgrade from the internet providers) and that also stopped the phone calls as he couldnt find the numbers

Thank you - you have given me an idea. He’s watching on our smart TV. I’ll turn off the modem when I go out. He doesn’t understand how the internet works so won’t know how to turn it on. We have a laptop but he can’t use it or my tablet.

I can’t be in the same room today. Hiding in the kitchen making soups with every vegetable I can find. Taking my anger out on the carrots!

I thunk you can install parental controls on your TV to stop these adult channels being accessed, they are on my TV even though I live alone but I can't be bothered removing them! Have a look in settings.
