What to expect?

Hello all, my mum is in her 3rd year of Alzheimer's, since diagnosis and things have been difficult for her. For the past couple of days mum has barely slept and seems completely wired! She appears to have hyper mania and I am really becoming incredibly concerned. Has this happened to anybody else's loved one, as aprt of Alzheimer's?

Could she have an infection, perhaps a UTI? Any sudden change of behaviour could be down to infection or an infection brewing. Best get her checked out by dr.

As @Moggymad says it could be an infection so it's worth getting that checked. I've not had experience of this behaviour but I know others on the forum have. Whatever is causing it I think you need to speak to her doctor.

Thank you, I'm calling the out of hours service to see what they say. I have spare unopened urine sample pots here so will try and obtain a sample whilst we wait for a Dr.
