My mum is self funding at home and I look after her,with 4 x double visits by carers,she's in a profile bed,I have to feed her and she cant drink without me having to hold a cup for her,the carers change her pads and wash and dress her,is there any point in trying to get any funding for her care,I have no idea what it's called is it CHC?
I have heard that people have been on deaths door and still unable to get it,so I just thought I would ask if anyone on here knows anything about it and at what stage should I apply and how do you go about doing it to try and get it,do you just write to social services?I have LPA so is that sufficient for me to apply for mum?I assume it will be just seen as a social care matter
