Blue badge application refusal

Immediately after the introduction of the national scheme which caused a tightening up of the issue of blue badges I applied for my wife and had a refusal because she went into hostess mode and passed the basic walk test.

I appealed using all the usual arguments based on dementia, the appeal was rejected even though it had a GP recommendation attached.
My successful solution was:

Hey Nitram
Thank you for the advice. I got our doctor to write a letter + medical history and today got the blue badge on the second try.
Seems if you have Alzheimer's they make you jump the extra hoop hoping you will give up!
