Thinking of you at this difficult time. My dad is at this stage, few words, the odd smile and awake but just lying there for much of the time. As much as I dread the end I wish somehow that I knew when it would be!

Oh @Toony Oony I'm sorry to hear that this moment had hit you so quickly like that. At this stage, that advice is all anyone can do and be thankful that she is as comfortable as possible as this time. All the best to you xx.

All my sympathy, and yes, be thankiful that your mum is comfortable. Keith was three weeks at this end stage and it is such a comfort to me that his death was a kind one, simply stopped breathing. with love, Geraldine aka kindred.
