This is a strange situation but I am just posting just in case someone has experienced the same.
My wife (PWD) was sectioned into hospital so that they could do an assessment, and a few weeks later the section was lifted and replaced with a DoLS. The best interest meeting has been arranged for next Monday, but in the meantime, I would like my wife to be back home where my daughter and I can look after her. We will have to manage without carers as they require two/three weeks notice - plus my wife with not accept strangers doing personal care anyway.
We do not have LPA or any other legal status, so where do we stand, my wife has spent over five weeks in hospital and should be back at home now.
