Hi has any members had any experience were the so called wonder drug for dementia is prescribed .

My husband was on it for a short time. He was prescribed it through the Memory Clinic. I certainly wouldn't describe it as a 'wonder drug'.
Edit - I just googled Demantine. It seems that it's a different drug and this link suggests it is not available in U.K.

I saw that web page. It doesn't give a lot of information but seems to imply that the med contains memantine hydrochloride, which is Memantine.
