My mum isnt that bad but we did have several months when she was asking to go every half hour. I found it so irritating!
Is this a new and sudden obsession or has it been coming on for some time?
It could be just an anxiety thing for which there is no easy solution except to keep calm and hope that she gets over it, but there are a couple of physical things that might be causing it.
Could she be constipated? That can cause pressure on the bladder and make them feel they want to go all the time. I feed my mum as much fruit and veg as I can get into her and am making her drinks all day, but that still wasnt enough so she now has a daily dose of Lactulose from the chemist.
Could she have a urine infection? Its a good idea to get this checked out at your GP surgery. Most places you dont need to book an appointment. Just ask the receptionist for a sample tube, catch a sample and drop it off at reception again. They will let you know if there is an infection and if so some antibiotics should help her.
