She’s here :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

They went in this morning, induced, nothing happened. Told they could go home. Walked in the door, her waters broke & they turned around & went back, very rapid progression

Mum & baby are well, youngest & mum are very tired but very happy

My mum will be dancing round the tables & toasting her great grandchild :D

I thought a bit of good News was well overdue @Amy in the US. Youngest adored my mum, he bought his fiancé down to meet her, persuading his future FIL to bring them down & told her they were expecting (we all knew by that time that she wouId never meet her), he so wanted to share his news with her.

The house has been cleaned & tidied while I waited, so I just need to get some sleep ready for the 2 1/2 hour drive in the morning. I showed Pooch the photo , he actually paid attention to the phone for the first time ever .. he’s going to be well impressed being taken with me :) ... maybe not so much when he finds youngest has 2 cats & the future in laws have, I think 4  It’s going to be an interesting visit

I’m very relieved that they are all well ... twelve days overdue  ... I think we were all fretting ;)

Hi Izzy from the Caribbean / USA, It's not easy, but I'm thankful to a Higher Power for been alive, for today & now, for the attitude of "baby steps, easy does it & one moment at a time", for family, friends & my two Treasures [grandsons 8 & 10 yrs., old,], I think for a caregiver it's healthy & wise (so he or she won't be "drain out -- emotionally & physically", to have some sort of "an excape valve" (in a humble manner ("change the radio station") --- go out alone or with a friend have an ice cream, lunch, dinner, go to the beach, window shopping, to a mall, the movies, casino, ext., I been Dx with ... for a # of yrs., & what has helps me is staying active as long my High Power give me breath & the ability of reasoning, feeling sorry for my self is "poisonous", on a daily basis I try my best after saying the Lords Prayer & The Serenity Prayer to put my life & the life's of my loved ones on HIS hands, I know / I belief the God of my understanding ** has every time under control, my most sincere wishes to you & loved ones, be safe, take care & don't me timid in reaching out to me -- One Moment At A Time.

Morning @One Moment At A Time

Thank you, you are right. We all need to let the pressure out. I used to want to scream at the waves, but mostly settled on ranting in here

I have a beautiful baby girl to meet, who will fill my heart back up with love. Born a year after mums stroke, so a good memory to help with the awful one

Hola / Hi from Puerto Rico & Congratulations for your 'Treasure' -- new baby girl, you know what? I'm doing some thing very special that brings joy to my heart -- thanks to my Higher Power, I still could drive, I'm awaiting for one of my grandson (8yrs., old) at his school, I'll take him home to my wife & than go out & do some errands, I can't complain (I don't attend any temple) [I have great respect for all], but I'm 100% certain there is a God, HE is by my side 24/7, --- sure Ivery often I get depress, anxious & fearful --- that's normal, I don't consider myself religious but yes indeed I'm a Great believer in my Lord & Savior Jesus Crist, I 100% 1) believe in the Lords Prayer 2) The Serenity Prayer, furthermore reaching out to Health Profesionals, loved ones, friends & acquantences 'like your self', you think this is a coincidence you & I are reaching out, I strongly believe this is the works of a Higher Power (of your understanding), I leave you for now, may the Higher Power of your understanding, protect you, instill HIS peace & calmness in your heart, be safe & take care, have a tranquil day -- One Moment At A Time

Morning @rosy18

At last is right ;) It was a very L O N G wait, but she’s adorable. So tiny. You forget how little they are o_O

It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive, I’d done the first hour & not even hit the motorway, it got me thinking of where I want to move to when the house sells. Cutting off that first hour of the trip wouId be amazing. Housing is ridiculously expensive near them, flats are achievable, but I’d prefer my own front door & a garden.

Thank you @Baby Bunty

Join in any time you like, we’re a friendly bunch. This has been my pressure release valve while caring for mum. I’d never have made it through with some of my sanity without it

Baby girl is stealing all our hearts. I had a lovely chat with youngest future MiL. I’ve been told to treat their home as mine. I’m always welcome & to never feel I am alone, I can always talk to them
