I really don't like the name, hope this is not just a bid for high ratings and wish I could have eaten there ....

The Restaurant that Makes Mistakes is a pop-up restaurant that was open in Bristol for 5 weeks, run by a Michelin starred chef, but totally staffed by people with dementia. It copies a Japanese model and is working on the premis that many younger PWD's lose their jobs on diagnosis, or lose their confidence to continue working. It aims to 'destigmatise' the concept of employing those with dementia.

Evidently this will be the subject of a new Channel 4 TV programme, made by the folk that did the 'Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds'.

I saw this on BBC local news and the carers centre have been promoting it. It is a good way to reduce some of the stigma of dementia and address ageism. That is a good thing, even if I know some will see it rightly as ignoring the later stages of dementia.
