after literally months of juggling laxatives now the wife being classed as severe alzheimer's,mmse 10 and her bowel muscles slowing down, also the fact my daughter has a bowel condition and tried them before her ileostomy,i've convinced the doctor that the prucalopride might be worth a try,he agreed with my logic, they are strictly speaking ibs treatment, they work by stimulating motility in stomach etc, initial signs are good, more result than bisocodyl and sodium picosulphate combined, thought i'd post because there must be others in the same boat.

Constipation is a chronic problem for a lot of people here. This could be another avenue to try, although I think it best that the doctor be involved. Is prucalopride a prescription drug?
