ACE test

So have got through Dads first ACE test results and he scored 29/100. I’ve seen the cut off for dementia is approx 80, so I’m guessing Dads score is really poor. Do I assume that the lower the score the further along the dementia is? Now just waiting for the CT scan date to come through.

The result would certainly seem to indicate severely reduced cognitive function. I don’t know if that translates into a specific stage of dementia as history and scan results are important factors in determining that.

In any case, I wish you both all the best as you go through this process as it can be a stressful time.
