Hello fellow journey men (women),
Hope everything is not too bad in your part of the world.
Father in law is still in respite. This is week 3 and about 10 weeks since he went into hospital. SS have give the go ahead for home care, but the men who will bring in the bed, hoist is refusing to move it upstairs. The stairs are narrow and there is a stair lift already in place. They , not sure if SS , have said everything can go in the lounge which is small and the font door opens straight into it. Not good idea. Family are going to appeal against the decision. His pain is under control, still not mobile , not eating much. He is generally OK.
Mum is still the same , reduced food/ liquid intake, taking supplements which seem to be keeping her going. Put on 2 kg this month.
Same s***t different day. Just a waiting game.
Hope you all have a descent week.
