Govt Assisted Care Fees

Greetings to all friends on this website.

Just to let you know that I am still in Cairns in Far North Qld in Australia and enjoying a much needed holiday. Parents are both fine and well and being looked after wonderfully by our brilliant carers.

Does anyone have any new information regarding the current situation regarding care fees after the Pointon case in Cambridgshire, the result of which was handed down just prior to my departure from UK.
