Just before xmas i gave a talk to social worker students at my local university. I spoke of how dementia affects me. As we know we live in a ageing society so dementia will feature markedly in their case loads. My talk brought a host of questions and i feel my efforts were well received. I have been invited to speak later this year.

Well done Haverton - the more people understand this disease the better. Thank you for stepping up to the plate and I am sure your next speaking event will be as vauable, if not more so.

Well done Haverton. Those who have some understanding of the condition and who care really help me in staying independent. Those who don't understand' don't know and don't care can reduce me to a wreck in moments.
I sometimes think I could use the skills I used to have to spread the word, but you are actually doing it so well done.
