Our Innovation Team at Alzheimer’s Society are leading a project on LGBT+ and dementia and are looking to engage with people affected by dementia within LGBT+ communities.

This would involve helping to prioritise which of the key areas of need and challenges to focus on, and then to look at designing solutions together from February 2018.

The early stages of the work so far has involved some initial research into this area and speaking with colleagues, researchers and other experts in the field or people with an interest, which has highlighted some key areas of need.

If you'd like to be involved or know of anyone who would be interested, please get in touch with Natasha Howard in the Innovation Team (Research and Development) at Alzheimer’s Society on natasha.howard@alzheimers.org.uk or via phone (landline: 020 7423 3512 and mobile: 07710380004).

In terms of how much you would like to be involved and what this looks like, this is flexible as we want to ensure this works around you. Please contact Natasha if you have any questions.

Thanks everyone :)
