My sister and brother-in-law called today to look at our new kitchen and whilst they were here my sister brought out some typed extracts from the memory book that she has been working on with my wife. Although we had to listen to my wife reading the same bits several times over this did not stop the fun and laughter we all had hearing (again) about her memories of childhood and her "whingeing" younger sister. This has been a great initiative by my sister and it was so good to see my wife getting so much pleasure unsullied - albeit temporarily - by her daily dementia demons.
