Hi I was just wondering first off all I've applied for Carers allowance it's been nearly 4 weeks how long has everyone else's taken ? And has everyone else's been back dated since the time they started applying

I think it took about 6 weeks for mine to come through. They should backdate it to the date that you applied.

yes it will take a bit of time .yes you will be back dated has was i .from the date you sent in . Are you also having pip for looking after .haave a look into it .

Precisely 8 days, but that was in 2014. They will backdate the claim though, starting on a Monday.
