Having just gone through similar with my mother-in-law, who did not suffer from dementia I think it's good the Dr. has prescribed morphine. M-i-L was only on high dosage paracetamol and oxygen for her breathing.

I pray the end comes painlessly.

I do feel for you at this difficult time and you are both in my heart and prayers. The pain of the one you love is more difficult to bear than one's own personal physical pain. I hope the morphine helps and brings calmness and peace to your husband.

It did help my husband when some months ago he was in a somewhat similar situation, and he became peaceful.

I wish you strength at this awful time.

Thinking of you
Love
