My Mum makes strange muttering noises, almost like whimpers, all the time as she moves around the house. In the bathroom going to the loo, kitchen getting a drink or getting the cat's dinner, bedroom getting dressed, everywhere. She does it while my Dad is in the house and also when I'm there but not when they have other visitors (cleaning girl, speech and language therapist or rare visitors).
She's been doing this ever since her last TIA which robbed her of much of her vocabulary. It's not a major problem but my Dad finds it unsettling, possibly because he is starting with minor cognitive impairment himself. Does anyone else have any experience of this?
