Mum's gone

Mum passed away in the early hours in hospital. She was admitted on 22nd December with a lung infection, put on anti-biotics but they had no effect and she gradually got worse. At least now she is at peace. Thanks to everybody here who has helped over the short time I've been on here xx

Thank you everybody. Dificult to believe just two years ago mum was fit and active and we did loads of things together, however, I am not on my own, my brother is home from Devon and my fiance is here. After mum's suffering this last week we are relieved she is now at peace. The staff at Colchester General Hospital have been absolutely first class, can't fault them despite the hospital receiving negative publicity over recent months. Thanks again.
