Feeling a bit frustrated tonight as mums carehome which was due to open again after 10 days lockdown, is now in lockdown due to 2 new cases.
To be honest I thought this might happen as Omicron is so transmissible.
There must be a better way, why can't the residents with covid be put in lockdown like the rest of the world.
I'm thinking PHE needs to rethink there strategies as I think there not going to work for this latest virus.
Does anyone feel as I do.

Two reasons @skinny.

There will not be enough staff in a care home to allow for a team to be in isolation with the residents with covid.

If there were, how many would choose to be in lockdown 24.7 when they have their own family responsibilities.
