Do take these things easy today and at least your husband is helping. Thankyou for your lovely comments on my thread when I still feel a bit low. Anyway the sun's come out now.

@jennifer1967 there are some horrible non Covid bugs around at the moment, my middle one had one last week that totally wiped her out for five days. Please try and take care and do as little as possible
thank you @Starting on a journey i thought it was the side effects of a new injection but it seems to have gone on longer than is normal. i fight things rather than resting and recovering. it feels a lot like flu and i need to realize im human and cant do it all

My family have had the same @jennifer1967 It`s probably because they have socialised more since precautions have eased.

There are two theories.
One is the fact such a long period of isolation has compromised our immune systems and we have become more open to infection.
The other is there is possibly a new strain of covid which is not picked up by current tests.

Try not to fight it too much. Rest and self care are best for you.

the nurse has phoned me and reviewed the injections and has taken me off them. i had few options to replace and try to control my diabetes which is in no way controlled. theyve put me back on the tablet they had to stop for me to have the injections. i have complained as receptionist told me to put my needles in an empty milk carton which with grandchildren and PWD is dangerous. she will feed that back to tell them.
i still feel awful and was quite dizzy this morning. my husband offered to stay with me instead of going to mens shed. i generously said that he would be better off at the shed but it was thoughtful of him?.

ive tried to do a covid test and the test itself is simple but the box to send it back in has defeated me. why cant they make them easier. the one on you tube is a different box with different slits. my son will bring the quick test over tomorrow. why do they make it so difficult. sorry i needed to let off steam frustration. i dont feel well at all really cant be dealing with the stupid box[ imo]

Hi @jennifer1967 just been catching up on here. I know exactly what you mean about the box I felt so ill at the time it was all I could do to actually do the blooming test and as I had a good idea my test would be positive I didn't want elderly partner to help. I just did the best I could with the box and used sellotape to seal it well, put in a bag for very good neighbour that took it to priority post box for me. Hope your test is negative and you feel better soon.

i have asked my daughter for a lateral flow test[the quick one] she works in a pharmacy so will try and get one. i have thrown the box im afraid. my husband was winding me up and so was the box that ive given up. the man came to do an asbestos survey for the bathroom. nothing has gone right today. feel better tonight than yesterday. the test was just to be on the safe side
