Preventing falls

Hello,
I am Ram and live in UK. My mother aged 92 has dementia. She lives in India. At night she lowers the bedside rail (installed to stop her getting out at night) by pressing on the latch and goes to the bathroom where most of her falls have happened. She forgets to seek the help of the carer who is sleeping nearby.
Are there any sensor systems that would sound when she gets up or adult proof bed rails? Many thanks.

Yes, you can get alarms which will go off when she gets up, either by a mat beside the bed which will detect pressure from her stepping on it, or motion sensors which will go off when they detect her moving.

Google pressure mat alarm and motion sensor alarm and you will get quite a range to choose from
