Yes, I’m quite persistent luckily! Unfortunately it’s mum’s budget that they’d be stretching, but she can’t stay in hospital forever

Thanks for asking- currently waiting the outcome of an assessment by a fourth care home. We don’t particularly like the home unfortunately, but we’re hoping for a better understanding of why they keep rejecting her.

I hated the home my dad was put in by SS. I’d been looking at the village/hotel type homes so when I first so it was a bit ago a shock to see how shabby and dated that place was! It turned out to be perfect for dad though - the staff were excellent - and he was well cared for until the end of his life.
