advice on what to do

My wifes mother has not been out of her flat since August.She is convinced she went out last week . She gets up at mid day and constantly complains of a sore knee. She cant remember anything that she does. On Sunday her daughter visited twice and in the evening asked whether she had been said she might have been.
repeats the same questions even though recently asked. Never goes out anywhere and never sees others in community room like she used to. shopping is brought in for her.
where do we go from here ?

where do we go from here ?

You go to her GP with a written list of your concerns. The GP will not want to breach patient confidentiality but will listen to you and hopefully take it from there.

Its what I did with my mother and my husband.

Good Morning chesterw,welcome to Talking Point.
We used the same approach as did Grannie G,with both my mum and mother in law,their doctors were then able to assess them in a covert way,usually by a "well women" check up saying it would help them(the doctors) get their records up to date.
Please post whenever you need to with any other concerns.
