Respite vacations

Hi I have a friend who's husband with dementia. My friends family will take her on holiday with them. The husband is very active and won't go into respite care. The husband can't stay at home. Does anyone know of active holiday type care we could sell to the husband so my friend can get the rest she needs.

If you're in the UK, check www.dementiaadventure.co.uk, they should be right up his street! They got my OH on a zip wire, and he loved it! It's active holidays for people with dementia and their carers but it's not something you can tag along to an existing holiday, I am afraid.
