Wandering

I have just purchased an item called "Tile" which I was hoping would solve my problem of my OH wandering but it isn't going to do the job I was intending it for ie keeping track of her.
I've looked at "Ostrich" gps tracker but find this expensive and bulky, I need something that she will want to wear on her wrist or round her neck like a pendant, the idea being if she moves say 50 yards away from me I will be alerted either on my phone or some sort of receiver.
Sounds perfectly feasible to my but alas can't find anything suitable, would have thought this would be a standard piece of kit for anybody looking after a person with dementia.
Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

This sounds perfect, I have one ordered hope it works as well as it sounds. Kath has wandered off a couple of times in the last couple weeks, I was in the kitchen making a meal and she went down the hill to the bus stop to meet me, to tell me to hurry up because dinner was nearly ready.
