AT times like this Snip there are no words that can express the feelings, but love to you and your family.

Thanks everyone....it means a lot to have such nice condolences.

I am not quite ready to write about my mum's passing...but I know it will be good for me to do so a bit later. Sadly, our lovely old dog seems to be in the run-up to the end of her life so our focus is on her at the moment. I know it seems irrelevant to non-dog people but all the thoughts I'm having about our dog seem to echo stuff about my mum...and makes things even more raw.

Condolences to you, Rosie, for your mum's passing on the same day as my mum's.

I feel I am just about hanging on by my fingertips at the moment...so apologies for not being able to say anything uplifting or positive. Hope to post more later.

Love to all

Snip x

Snip, some of us have dogs too, and understand fully what you're going through in that regard. Mine are both 13 but still sprightly, and I dread anything happening to them. They are - collectively - the one thing that keeps me going at times.

So take good care of yourself, and your old girl. She will need you to do the best for her that you can, and sometimes that is the hardest thing of all to do. Stay strong.

With very best wishes
