Goobledegook...
Sorry does that mean people with Alzeimhers are less likely to have diabetes then? Because this would be very interesting as my Mum is the only one out of four girls in her family who has alzeimhers but does NOT have diabetes, all the others have diabetes but non have alzeimhers (though she is the oldest so this might change).

I belive Dhiren`s decline has been very slow althought it has shown quite a drop recently.
Since I have been posting on `Life in the day` I feel the repetiton has been significant. He has been sundowning for ages, wanting to go home. The severity and frequency does not seem to have changed. And in comparison to others, he has lost little language, and is still continent. He also has retained quite an insight into his condition for a few years. This may or may not be due to his diabetes but it is a coincidence.

Does not seem to have helped in Lionel's case.
His journey to his last stage has been quite short (relatively), especially when I consider his age.
