Managing Medication for those with a dementia

My latest problem with Mums medication is that when the delivery of the next 4 weeks dosset boxes arrived last Friday they missed the visit of the carer so they didn't get put in the safe---Mum had a whole evening of 'pick and mix' before the breakfast visit ! Not sure how to get round this, phoned the pharmacy but they say the driver can't be asked to put them in a safe.

Linda - we've got round this previously by asking the pharmacy driver to drop them off at the home care agencies head office. The carer can then collect them and put them in the locked box.
