    Whilst you might not have power of attorney for health, you do have the power to run her finances, sooo unless you're in agreement with what is being proposed then you could argue that you ARE in charge as you're not going to pay money out for things which you don't believe are in her best interests now are you...that could be very remiss of you when you have the financial responsibility sitting at your door!
