What a difference a day makes!!

Spent yesterday in tears after I took dad for his first weeks respite rang a couple of times and they said he had settled fine. Went to visit today as I could not settle last night he was just finishing his lunch had a big smile and told me I was to late i had missed lunch, he had joined in the sing along yesterday and was going to the harvest festival service this afternoon. Bless him he thinks he's in a very nice hotel and keeps offering to pay for his tea and coffee. I just smiled and agreed, left with a much lighter heart
