    2 Weddings again!

    Hi to you all

Not having much relaxing time out here as just this morning our niece who lives right next door to us 3 day and night none stop wedding finished which was held in our house and garden so the noise from the traditional Indonesian wedding was terrible causing me a lot of agitation and confusion, but that’s not the end of it as at midday today ‘as is Indonesian custom’ the wedding moves to the grooms families house for another 3 days and the groom now our nieces husband only live 6 doors away from us so yet more noise and confusion! But hopefully by the weekend it will all be over and then I can get some sleep! The customs and traditions out here are getting too much for me now!

Oh well at least I’ve managed to get the wedding cake made ready… although to be very honest this wedding has caused me far more stress, confusion and anxiety than my stepdaughters wedding exactly 2 years ago to the day! It’s surprising just how much our condition can deteriorate in Two years without us realizing it!

Such lovely pictures Barry - and what a cake!! The traditions are fascinating Barry but I can understand how it must have an impact on you. Wishing you some peace and quite and a rest now! x

    Hello Barry,

I think of you often with the traditions in mind and wonder how you are managing. You did a wonderful job with the wedding cake - I wonder how you do it at all!! It really is fantastic and you haven't lost the skill.

It will soon all be over and I hope that it doesn't take long to settle into a quiet and peaceful way of life.

You look very well in the photograph. The bride, of course, is stunning and I wish her and her husband a long and happy life together.

    Love
