    Hello Padmag
I do see where you are coming from re selling your share of the house to your husband and having some financial security

I think you need to get professional legal advise on this
We do have some very knowledgeable people on here who know far more than I do about this and hopefully they will be along soon

What worries me is that if the house is still going to be in your name is, that later on if your husband is not fully self funding and needs to go into care, it could be construed as deprivation of his assets by social services

I know you have taken up with the ward sister about your husband escaping to come home and were told that the A and E staff did not make them aware your husband had some form of dementia and that she will take this up, I would still if you have the time and energy ( i understand that often we dont) make a formal complaint , the hospital will have a complaints proceedure and may have PALS who would be the ones to speak to
and I am thinking that surely it must have been in your husbands notes at the very least

    If only
