    ..and when there's another problem

Now mum's legs are hugely swollen with fluid-have split in places and have bled.

So there's a nurse coming in to dress them.

Getting mum to put them up is a nightmare-especially when I can't be there all the time-or part of the time.

Now mum is stuck in-as she needs to be there for the nurse.

It's just another thing to add to my load.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about your mum. Poor thing, I hope she is comfortable and that her legs heal.

Take good care of yourself too!

Thank you christin. They look no better. It has effectively housebound my mum- she used to be out every day and now she has these huge legs that despite all the fruesemide chucked at them- they are not going down and fluid is weeping through the skin. I don,t know how my lovely mum can walk upstairs.
