A 79 year old woman has stabbed her husband who had Alzheimer's 17 times after having difficulty coping with him........
She was shot by police with a taser.

That is so very sad, what a terrible end to a 40 year marriage, my heart goes out to them both and their family.

You can imagine the stress the wife was under. If the husband had been saying he wanted to go home repeatedly or something like that it would be enough to send the wife over the edge after the stress of the move.

So very sad.

AND really scary too. I worry all the time for people I know who are caring for someone who doesn't respond and is aggressive and abusive. It must be so terrible for all concerned.
