need some advice

havent been on in a while but continue to try to be dads main carer from 35 miles away visited today and think maybe its time to look at a home for him he lives on his own and really feel he is no longer safe what signs do i look for thanks

caring at a distance must be hard.

Maybe the first step would be to ask the local SS for an assessment, this would at least give you an idea of what is available, that may not necessarily be a home but could be a comprehensive care package.
