Short period of downtime on Friday 4 May & our new links policy

Hi everyone,

Just to give you advance notice that this Friday morning, Talking Point will need to be offline for a short time, whilst we install a necessary security update. This will be happening at about 7am, and hopefully won’t take more than about half an hour.

We will also be making a change to our moderation policy as of then. To reduce nuisance or ‘SPAM’ posts on Talking Point, new members will not be able to post external links on the forum until they have posted ten bona fide messages. Talking Point’s Help section will be updated on Friday to reflect this change, but if you have any questions in relation to this, please do get in touch.
