Clive and Chris went today and she was more with it - she always responds better to men!
Poor Celia she stoked Lucys hand and Lucy withdrew hers saying "COLD" poor Celia has bad circulation

In an ideal world her daughter would like her to come home to die rather than in hospital
I guess we all would but after my horrific experience with my Mum I feel nervous
about such an idea but I am sure it wouldnt be anything like when my mum died, the GP said it was the worst death he had ever witnessed

Time will tell our GP said she could be sedated and given oxygen and made comfortable but . . . . it depended on the health of other people in the house too as this needed to be taken into consideration

visited lucy tonight she did speak a little bit Celia told her it was her birthday in ten days time
She couldnt hear her so I repeated it and said you will be 89
    She replied "how ghastly"

she wanted her teeth cleaning I couldnt find her tooth brush which was a good job as I asked the nurse if she knew where it was and she said she needed to clean her teeth for her as they need to be very careful with her inhailing water

I felt very sad when I left her, her arms are all bruised and swollen and she is very breathless despite the oxygen

You are one wonderful lady. I admire the way you cope with everything that is thrown at you. You must be feeling absolutely drained at present and so very sad. I hope that Lucy can be kept calm and peaceful and that you will all find strength to support her. My sympathy to you. love X
