    You could do with getting in touch with the doctor to make arrangements about getting the continence nurse involved, then there will be no need for changing clothes, just pads.. your mum can still get to the toilet, but it wont matter if she doesn't quite make it

    Having the toilet and shower downstairs will be a godsend, if the worst comes to the worst, you could always make a bedroom downstairs

    dear all

    Just to let you know that I am in a better place today. Mum slept well downstairs and I moved alot of her equipment into the downstairs shower room. Thanks for all your support it must have rubbed off onm me.
