Welcome to Talking point. I am so sorry to hear about your husband. There are many people who use this forum who will be able to answer questions and so on. If you start a thread on the main forum you will probably get more answers. My husband has a different kind of dementia.
I wish you all the courage in the world

    Dear Aimee
I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I don't know anything about that specific form of dementia, but can sympathise as my husband has mixed dementia. I have lived with the effects of it for a few years now.
You will find lots of support and advice on here.

    Wishing you well.

    Welcome to Talking Point, Aimee.

I hope you find TP helpful and supportive.

Can I ask if you and your husband have been offered any support re care. There are many factsheets which may help, this one re Community Care Assessments might be of interest to you. Please note that it also includes a section on an assessment for you as a carer.

Very best wishes to you, please do post again and let us know how you are getting on. x
